If you’re looking for uptown sensibility with a dash of Queen West edge – not to mention fabulous eventwear – you can find it at Poor Little Rich Girl.
Our beloved boutique has become a one-stop staple with Toronto’s fashionable set since August 2009, when we quickly turned heads as the stylish new girl in town. Inspired by original PLRG's and beloved Hollywood starlets like Audrey Hepburn and Edie Sedgwick, the uptown boutique is a fun and welcoming environment. With its playful and inviting décor (complete with candy jars), you’ll instantly feel like you’re shopping in your best friend’s closet.
Don’t let our tongue-and-check name fool you: you don’t have to be rich to shop at Poor Little Rich Girl...but a desire for style and fashion is a must. A perfect mix of party dresses, trendy casual pieces and funky accessories at a wide range of price points creates the ultimate fashion playground. And while there’s much to choose from, dresses are our specialty. An ever-growing roster of designers ensures that there is a dress for every occasion – whether it’s for girls’ night out or a milestone event. That’s why we’re a natural go-to for talent on red carpets and the city’s most stylish for charity events and holiday season.
The Poor Little Rich Girls:
Owner Sara Puppi knows her stuff. A born and raised Toronto girl, Sara has worked the dress boutique circuit since she was a teenager – and hasn’t missed a fabulous stiletto-clad step since. Before too long, her love for all things pretty developed into a full-blown passion and it was time to open up shop.
It takes a Poor Little Rich Girl to know one. That’s why the PLRG staff has been hand selected by Sara as some of the most fashion-forward and (actually) friendliest ladies in the city.
But hey, don’t take it from us: come by and say hello yourself.
